MS-DOS Disk MAAF
Presented by Colin Justason
This is the fifth of the TPUG PC disks, MAAF. M = MS-DOS AAF = DISK ID.
This disk is mainly a Communications disk, and provides an excellent
program for the novice and expert alike. It is called Procomm and can be
started by typing its name, however you should copy it to another disk
first since it will create some operating files when it is first run.
Since I also wanted to provide you with full documentation I have ARC'd the
file containing these DOCS otherwise I would not have been able to get as
much on the disk as I have. To unARC the docs copy the file ARCE206.COM and
PRCM24DC.ARC to a formatted blank disk and then at that disks prompt type
ARCE206 PRCM24DC and wait for a couple of hundred k of docs to be added to
your disk. Once you have the Docs please ensure that you read them in order
to get the most benefit from this program along with the License agreement
and new file.
I have also included the Docs for ARCE206 and suggest that you read them as
well so you can see all of the benefits that this program can provide you
with. I will be providing a program shortly which will allow you to ARC
your own files so watch for it.
MAAF is again, a shareware/freeware disk and you should let your conscience
guide you but I suggest that if you are going to use these programs, that
you should pay the programmer something for his effort, if you find the
program useful. Most of the programmers make contribution suggestions which
do not seem out of line, in fact most are a steal for the quality of their
work. I have separated the programs with dummy files starting with a -and
an ext of ---. These files are blank and can be deleted once you are
familiar with the different files and what is required for each program.
